Protected Geographical Indication Laconia
Medium Sweet Rose Wine
ONNAR ANTHOSMIAS 2010
Grape varieties:
Agiorgitiko (10%)
Kidonitsa (70%)
Roditis (20%)
Vinification:
Selected grapes are destemed and crushed.
The grapes are inoculated by selected strains of dry active yeast.
The grape skins must remain in contact for 24 hours at 18oC, thus we take the great aroma and the rosy colour of Agiorgitiko. Fermentation takes place at 18oC for 12-15 days. The increase of the sugar content is made by the addition of condensed must.
Wine description:
Agiorgitiko ,Kidonitsa and Roditis give us the medium sweet wine ANTHOSMIAS. ANTHOSMIAS means the one which smells flowers. During wine making, we give it the chance to express this powerful character at full strength..Agiorgitiko allows the wine to acquire its final rosy colour. The slightly sweet taste enhances the aromatic potential of this wine.
